Helen McCoy Boone Lanier age 95, formerly of Northampton County, North Carolina went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 27, 2015.
Helen was born October 6, 1919 in Northampton County North Carolina the daughter of the late Joseph Colonna Boone and Josie Virginia Pulley Boone. She was also preceded in death by her husband Thomas Adams Lanier.
Helen was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many people. It takes a lot of work and dedication to be a homemaker to her family that she deeply loved. She was the last survivor of fourteen siblings.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Stewart Lanier and his wife Julie of Jamestown, NC; Her three grandchildren, Aimee Eddings of Greensboro, NC Thomas A III, who has been teaching in Tokyo, and Alyson Kennedy of Greensboro, NC; Two great grandchildren, Mackenzie Kennedy and Wyatt Kennedy of Greensboro, NC.
Graveside services will be held January 29, 2015 at Creeksville Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Rev. Andy Sloan officiating.
The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery.
